Upside Down Wedding Cake / Lehigh Valley

Have you ever wanted a wedding cake that was a show stopper? Well look no further than Granny Schmidt’s Bake Shop in Whitehall, PA.

This bride and groom wanted something like no one else had, so the creation began. The team at Granny Schmidt’s started with a custom iron hook made to support the structure of this cake.  This couple chose the Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter Mousse filling and finished with our famous Swiss Buttercream. The design was a texture design with a ribbon around each tier for added decoration. The flowers to compliment the creation were provided by Pondelek’s Florists and Gifts in Hellertown, PA. The happy couple also had a complete cupcake display on the wood pieces the groom cut and handcrafted himself. The couple chose the ever popular Smores, Vanilla Raspberry and Banana Foster Cupcakes from our Gourmet Cupcake line. The photos were taken by John Wirick Photography. The couple danced all night in the clouds with music provided by the terrific team at Rockin Ramaley. There was also Rockin Photobooth in the house!

The couple had their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Riverview Country Club in Easton, PA. It was the perfect venue for the look of this wedding cake.
